ANT-235 Large 1920s Knight's Helmet Pendant Light with Opal Shade
Monumental “Knight’s Helmet" light. Circa 1920+.
This pendant has a nice old-gold and black contrasting color scheme.
The lovely, hand-blown opaline glass shade is simply gorgeous. It measures a whopping 14" diameter at the top, and borders on 14" tall as well.
Overall...as pictured...the light has a total drop of 42”. It could be lengthened or shortened just slightly by adding/removing chain links from the 4 lateral chains.
We completely rewired this wonderful light completing the UL standards with the addition of a copper ground wire. The socket we installed is a mogul socket. This could be used for bulbs up to, and including, 500 watts...but we liked the idea of installing our 40 watt "Induction Light Bulb" which gives out a 264 incandescent watt equivalency for only 40 watts of electricity draw. And it lasts thousands of hours longer than incandescent bulbs. It is included in the price of the light.
