ZLW-205LK Russell & Erwin Reproduction Art Nouveau Lady Face Door Plate with Low Position Doorknob
Antique original sample is marked "Russwin", formerly R&E. Victorians and Edwardians loved the exotic, especially Chinoisserie (Asian design). We think that the originals were custom made, and not a stock item. The Morris influence is strong in this design.
Low position door plate commonly used on the passive side of double doors, so the location of the doorknob on the "dummy" door matches the working entry door plate. Also used on interior doors for passage or privacy function.
Use this beautiful door plate with our matching turnlatch doorplate and choice of turnlatch mortise lock for interior rooms that need a privacy function, such as bathrooms. As an alternative, our 2 3⁄8" backset tubular deadbolt and tubular passage latch can be used instead of a mortise lock to create a privacy set, too.

Each doorplate has been cast in solid brass using the Lost Wax Casting Method, then antiqued. The finish is lacquered for protection.
