Rather fancy doorknob rose matching design to the ZLW-270 Amiens door plate series. Same type of casting and same thickness. Lost wax cast door plate is solid brass, antiqued brass finish and lacquered to maintain its tone.
Amiens, France was a region famous for its Gothic architecture. Gothic Revival was a decorating trend that surfaced several times during the Victorian era. These American antiques were reproduced using Lost Wax casting for the finest details, then finished with a antique brass Finish similar to bronze.
Measures 6 3/8" tall overall by 2 5/8" wide. Doorknob receiver is 3/4" diameter.
