This ceiling light is one of a series of "Empire" lights originally made in 1900, recreated in solid top quality brass.  Choose from unlacquered polished brass, nickel plated, antique brass finish, oil rubbed bronze finish, or a soft silver "pewter" tone.  Antique finishes are lacquered to preserve their patina.

The beautiful detail is created by using the Lost Wax Casting method, just like fine jewelry.  Terrific for your period home kitchen, or add some ambiance to your modern home.  Two incandescent sockets for up to 100 watts each.

Shades are sold separately.  We picture the 13 1/2" fitter Victorian opal glass shade, held in place with four fitter screws for easy maintenance.  You could also use a 13 1/2" fitter size antique shade!
