This is a Victorian style design doorbell operator with the word "TURN" at the top.

The twist operator is mounted on the outside of a door, and when the handle is twisted, it will operate the mechanical doorbell on the inside of the door.  This operator will work with antique doorbell mechanisms, or with our matching reproduction doorbell (part number ZLW-183BL) which is sold seperately.

• Diameter:  2 ½"
• Projection:  1 ¼" from the door.
• Steel Shaft Diameter:  ³⁄₁₆" square.

This item comes in a choice of polished brass, or antique finishes.  Use the menu above to select the finish and length of the steel shaft.

The standard shaft length of 2 ¼" accommodates doors up to 1 ¾" thick.  If your door is very thick, the longer shaft lengths can be easily trimmed as necessary to project specifications.

If placement on the door is not feasible, the twist operator can also be mounted on the wall beside the door by ordering the longer shaft lengths:  6", 10", or 12".  Use the shaft long enough to go through your exterior siding, wall framing, and into the interior to ring the bell.  Ideal for sites with all-glass doors, or doors with wood stiles too narrow to hold the bell.  The steel shaft may be trimmed at your home to the exact length that works for you.
