This narrow, good looking, Lost Wax Cast backplate comes with a power spring mechanism built right into the backplate. This spring is designed to help return a heavy lever handle to the normal operating position after each use.

Some locks (old; antique; or simply not designed for a heavy lever handle) are not strong enough to handle lever handles. Now this backplate has strength built right into it.

Use the drop down menu to select from polished, unlacquered brass, or our hand-applied  antique patinas.

Backplates measures: 1 7/8" Wide by 10 3/8" High. 2 1/4" cc.
