ZLW-160R  Polished Brass High Quality Victorian Style Towel Holder

This is a Victorian reproduction hand towel or wash cloth holder.  The base is solid brass, and was cast through the lost wax casting process (the same as jewelry-making).  Other parts were lathe-turned or cut from solid brass.  This is a fine quality item.

The base measures 1 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall.  Each arm is 15 1/2" from center.

These pivoting towel racks were reproduced in stainless steel until the middle of the 20th century, and mounted inside kitchen cabinet doors.  This classic item is still useful for modern kitchens today.
