ZE-70 Door Hardware Reproduction R&E Covered Keyhole Escutcheon
This may be the finest covered keyhole that has ever been made in the Victoriana era. The balance and design are perfect. If you have an old skeleton key hole that no longer works or isn't needed, what finer way to cover the hole? If you have a modern convex peephole in your door, return it to last-century charm by keeping the peephole covered.
We recast from an original R&E antique keyhole escutcheon in solid brass using the lost wax casting method, then hand-finish to a darkened "antique brass" patina. This keyhole is lacquered to protect the finish.
Measures 4" tall by 2" wide.
