ZE-501 Recreated Victorian Stork Door Plate by R&E circa 1887
Another large and highly collectible Victorian door plate by R&E, which is featured in the Russell & Erwin Catalog VII in 1887. The amount of detail is just "out of this world". Below the surmounted stork figure are mythical creatures and Victorian scroll elements. There is an anchor on the keyhole cover.
Center of the knob to the center of the 1st keyhole round bit is 2 1/4", and the distance to the second keyhole is 3 3/4".
Use our Victorian mortise lock, ZB-299WN (2 5/8" backset) or ZB-400WN (2 1/4" backset), which have a decorative faceplate and strikeplate.
Don't forget to select an R&E reproduction doorknob, such as the most rare knob ZE-001, or regal lion guardian knob ZE-25, for a stately entry. We offer 11 doorknob choices in the R&E Series.
Measures 9 3/4" tall x 3" wide.
