This Aesthetic bracket is a really a nice period piece.  Eastlake's simple lines lend themselves to many period and contemporary homes.

Arms are 7" by 8 3/4", and you can mount this bracket either way.  The mounting surface width tapers from 1" at widest to 1/2" at tips.
