This Victorian chandelier is known as Neo-Grecian or Greek Revival style, and was popular in the last half of the 19th century. Classical images with clean lines & stylized shapes were the forerunner to Art Deco's modern lines. These circa 1875 lights have been faithfully reproduced using the Lost Wax Casting process (just like fine jewelry) to bring out the details.
Shown here in polished, unlacquered brass, we also offer custom finishes to blend with your special project or décor. To blend with an older home's hardware, select antique brass, an all hand-applied patina.

Pictured here also are a few fixtures we offer that complement this chandelier. A single sconce is suitable for covered porches and entryways, setting the tone for the rest of the home. We also offer a lovely double sconce in the Neo Grecian style. The sconces and the larger chandelier were originally gaslight. Coordinate your shades to match for a "suite" effect.
