720-OGE-OB Victorian 8 Light Chandelier in Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish
Reproduction of John W Call of Phil., PA Circa 1890. We show the other choice when it came to gas fittings - the candle tube and drip saver. A tradition left over from candle times. True milk glass candle tubes & drip savers, which are included in the price, grace these nice "Victorian" fixtures. The porcelain socket inside the candle tube is the highest quality and accepts a 75-watt chandelier base bulb. All glass shades accept 100 watt bulbs.
Nice combination 4 up and 4 down lighting, for great room ambiance and surface light. A wonderful choice for over an island in a period home, too. Fixture uses 2.25" shade fitters on the electric "down" lights. Shades are sold separately. We picture 078G , an etched glass with amber tinted edge. Use simple milkglass shades for a more Colonial look.
pictured here also are just a few of the spun-brass vase center fixtures that work well with this chandelier. Try a transitional newel post light, 312-QNW-SA . A sweet accent light with candle is 703-SA . For entry or hallway, see our transitional pendant 513-MGE-SA .
