This is the design you'll see in every restored Victorian home photo. Changing the shade will completely change the mood of this fixture. Lovely, elegant design, complete with recreated "key," which turned the gas on and off in the original sconce. Ours is fully electric now, of course, for your convenience.
The pierced shade holder allows light to filter down, as well as the "up" light cast by the shade. This fixture could be used in the shade-down position if desired.
Shades sold separately. Fixture has a 4" glass shade fitter. We picture our ruby tip shade, as a suggestion.
Finish options include polished, unlacquered yellow brass; our antique brass finish; or nickel plated. Finishes can be chosen in the "Options" menu above.
If you'd like an On/Off switch added to the base, we offer custom installation of the switch for $25.00. Please click "Yes" on the "Add Switch?" menu above to add the switch to your order.
