Combination gas and electric fixtures were made at the turn of the century, and for as long as 20+ years thereafter. Electrical supplies were not always reliable in every location of America at this time. There were two main types of "up" gas fixtures. One was a simple candle tube with traditional drip saver. Our milk glass candle tubes have the finest porcelain sockets inside.
Mission style fixtures are popular today, not only for Mission décor, but Arts & Crafts, bungalow, and log homes. Clean, straight lines lend themselves to modern interiors as well.
