086G  Glass Shade Reproduction 7" Fan Design Mitchell Vance Ball Gas Shade  2 5/8" Fitter

This is a rare reproduction of a circa 1855 gas shade.  This shade is hand blown, hand cut, and hand trimmed, which gives a more authentic look than machine-made products.

They are 8% lead crystal.  These shades give the perfect ambiance to the early gas chandelier reproductions.  This design is a genuine recreation of an antique pattern which can be seen in the Dover reprint of the 1876 Mitchell Vance Catalog.

Shade measures 7" diameter, about 6 1/4" high, and the fitter size is 2 5/8" in diameter.
