Induction Tunnel, Wall, and Flood Light Fixture 200 Watts (200-TDC-53)

Great multi-purpose induction light fixture - suitable for tunnels, stadiums, flood lights, commercial lots, and other uses.

With 50% less energy usage than metal halide lights, and just 1/10 of the energy consumption of fluorescent lights - these induction lights have very low maintenance costs (100,000 hours of lamp life).

  • Solid mounting bracket for walls or poles
  • Tempered glass lens
  • Cast aluminum housing
  • Preferred height installation: 15 ft to 26 ft
  • Light-weight, yet durable all-weather construction
  • Lamp life: Up to 100,000 hours
  • Working environment: -13°F to 149°F

Technical specifications:

Available with 5000 Kelvin color temperature.     Working Voltages can be specified:

200 Watt Tunnel Light at 120VAC
In stock...Transformer 200 watt #110 transformer which is the IECEE approved induction transformer specified as FDC200R101.  It’s range of operation is 90VAC to 170VAC.   It uses only 1.79 amps to run the entire light.  Output 16,000 lumens which yields an outstanding 31,360 pupil lumens*

200 Watt Tunnel Light at 220VAC
To be ordered...could be the 200 watt Transformer #220 transformer which is the IECEE approved induction transformer specified as FDC200R101 and wired for a voltage range of 170VAC to 290VAC.   Running at 220VAC the amps are reduced to 0.77 amps to run the entire light.  Output 16,000 lumens which yields an outstanding 31,360 pupil lumens*

*Per: Francis Robinstein of Lawrence Berkeley National Library: Useful Pupil efficiency is calculated for each type of light: HPS = times 0.4 to 0.67 of stated lumens for actual pupil lumens Metal Halide = times 1.49 of stated lumens for actual pupil lumens Fluorescent = times 1.49 of stated lumens for actual pupil lumens

We all "know" that yellow HPS light is poor for seeing detail. It's true lumen "pupil value" is actually between 0.4 and 0.67 times the stated lumens output. * HPS wastes energy and is poor light. Induction lighting has a value between 1.62 for 4100°K light to 2.25 for 6500°K light.* Lower Induction wattages can be used to achieve equal & greater "Pupil Lumens" of obsolete HPS and Metal Halide lights. Green savings and visual clarity are achieved when replacing HPS or Metal Halide with Induction Lighting.

Near zero maintenance is an outstanding added value. Did we mention "Instant" re-lighting with Induction Lights?
