A very neat shell motif set of British theater sconces from England. These sconces are often called "Odeon Sconces" since one of the main movie house chains in Britain, named all their theaters "Odeon". In fact...it sometimes is a synonymous term for a movie theater. These sconces were often used with frosted, amber and even pink tinted shades around the turn of the century. In older British theaters, you can still see them existing where they have been for over half a century or more. We have rewired these sconces to UL American standards with new American sockets, switches and wiring.
So, these are ready to hang with an American standard light mounting kit which we will supply. Measures: 10" tall to the bottom of the switch with a width of also 10". Protrudes a mere 4 1/2" into the room. Uses standard base incandescent bulb up to 100 watts, or use our optional LED bulbs to maximize your energy savings.
We have a matching chandelier , that came with these sconces, for sale on another listing if you are thinking about a suite.
