Very interesting SET of FOUR Circa 1930 sconces with art glass shades.
If you have been antiquing for any time at all, you will know how hard it is to find a set of four sconces of almost any kind except reproduction. But here we have original antiques and a complete unique set of four iconic sconces.
The Art Deco motif on the backplates are really quite pronounced and so typical of the era and design. The backplates are cast iron and have that lovely pewter finish
The glass shades are original and have the streamline LINES repeated on the shade with a small center motif.
Completely re-wired with new sockets and are ready to hang. For a bulb...we would suggest one of our
LED round bulbs, stock number 45G-E26, since it is small and gives just the right amount of accent for an ambiance wall sconce.
This is the same bulb we use in our museum to light sconces.
If you need significantly more light than ambiance, regular bulbs will also be fine for this fixture.
