ANT-805  Edwardian or Art Deco Pair of LOVELY Sconces by Riddle

How lovely these sconces are!  Lovely graceful sweeping lines, and a lovely classical motif makes these sconces very pleasant fixtures indeed.  Circa 1910 - 1930.

Riddle was known for their exact and beautiful castings.  The detail of these sconces is really quite exquisite.  Nice contrasting, too, with a high-low pewter finish.  Also...quite hard to find is the decorative mounting cap in the center of the sconce.  Usually these are the first parts to be lost, but here we have the originals which is a very nice touch.

Electrical:  These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop.  Normal medium base sockets, for everyday bulbs, were installed.  Additionally, rotary switches like the original ones supplied by Riddle, were replaced.  All mounting hardware will be supplied.

We are including with these sconces our small 1.6 watt LED bulbs.  We chose this LED bulb since it is short, so it does not show above the edge of the shade.  These bulbs give plenty of ambient light, but if more light is desired, higher wattage bulbs can be used.  Our short LED bulbs are included free with these sconces.
