S-A12 Lock Reproduction Small Jewelry Box Lock & Key
How many dozen of times have we been asked for a small jewelry box lock over the last years? Plenty! Imagine our joy when we found NOS (new old stock) ones to duplicate.
How nice and sweet these are and American too...not the ugly cheap European ones.
Only 1" tall! It is a 1/2 mortised lock, but only needs a depth of ¼". It is used for a very small box only.
Lock Measurements:

Selvedge: 15⁄16" wide x 5⁄16" deep.

Lock Plate: 1" tall x 1 3⁄16" wide.

Lock Body: ¾" tall x approx. 7⁄8" wide.

Mounting Holes: 15⁄16" center-to-center.
Key Measurements:

Key: 1 ½" long with 1⁄8" diameter barrel.

Keyhole measures 3⁄8" tall by ¼" wide at the widest point.
These are put together by hand; some slight indentations from hammering the rivets in may be present. This in no way affects the function of the lock.
