The pineapple was a classic design that meant "welcome". It was used in furniture, wallpaper, and finials, as well as lamp shades. This shade was popular from Victorian through Edwardian times, 1895 - 1925.
Our delicate glass shades are blown into a mold the old-fashioned way, then completed by hand with an etched "Frosted" design.
